North American Theatrix completed a double arena project for Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. The arena's structure, designed by Centerbrook Architects, stands proud draped in the school's yellow and grey colors. The project demonstrates NAT's commitment to sports and large-scale venues. North American Theatrix responsibilities included the installation of the public address audio systems, conferencing system, and broadcast infrastructure. The system was designed with redundant DSPs, assuring the system's reliability needed for fire and evacuation announcements. NAT fitted the arena with Biamp Audia DSPs. 'We were confident the backed-up Audia system would work well and provide the reliability needed for this critical application", says Gregory Downing Director of Engineering for NAT.
