Property-Wide Paging & Background Music Distribution System Replacement. The purpose of this project was to replace obsolete, failing, proprietary technology with a more cost effective, open architecture solution. North American Theatrix was approached by the Owner-Mohegan Sun Resort Casino (Gino Mulcahy-Lead Audio Engineer) to research the best solution for upgrading the Paging and Background Music System throughout the property. The greatest project challenge was, "How do we replace and program the new system for a property that operates 24/7?" North American Theatrix devised a plan for zero down time replacement of the system; no zone would be down for more than 60 seconds. We accomplished this task without issue. Director of Entertainment Production, Joe Colclaser had asked, "When will the big turn over happen?" North American Theatrix Project Engineer, Keith Book, replied, "Two days ago!"
